MILLER: On writing and loneliness (and Playboy photos).

A topic which coincidentally has been reflected in my late college essays.

"What did Mr. Wren say? Words are lonleliness. I left a couple of words for you on the tablecloth last night--you covered them with your elbows."

"It is not difficult to be alone if you are poor and a failure. An artist is always alone--if he is an artist. No, what an artist needs is loneliness.

The artist I call myself. So be it."
